Firmware upload

Windows

1 Unplug all USB-To-Serial adapters.
2 If you have a 64 bit operation system, install: http://www.ifamilysoftware.com/Drivers/PL2303Installer/PL2303_64bit_Installer.exe
3 If you have a 32 bit operation system, install: http://www.ifamilysoftware.com/Drivers/PL-2303_Driver_Installer.exe
4 reboot your computer.
5 Connect the black wire of the USB-Serial cable to GND, the green wire to RX and the white on to TX.
6 Connect the USB-Serial cable to your computer and connect a power supply to the EspLight. For information about the power supply, read connect_leds_and_power.
7 If the EspLight isn´t flashed before, you will see that the red status LED is on. If it is flashed before, You will see a blinking LED
8 Download https://raw.githubusercontent.com/EspLight/EspLight-firmware-uploader/master/windows/EspUpload.zip and unzip it.
9 run “run.exe” and follow the instructions.

Debian/Ubuntu

1 Connect the black wire of the USB-Serial cable to GND, the green wire to RX and the white on to TX. The red vcc cable is 5V, DO NOT connect this!!, you will blow up the EspLight
2 Connect the USB-Serial cable to your computer and connect a power supply to the EspLight. For information about the power supply, read connect_leds_and_power.
3 If the EspLight isn´t flashed before, you will see that the red status LED is on. If it is flashed before, You will see a blinking LED
4 Open a terminal and run:
sudo apt-get install git python-serial
git clone https://github.com/EspLight/EspLight-firmware-uploader.git
cd EspLight-firmware-uploader/linux
sudo python2 run.py

and follow the instructions.
